The TREBOTTI farm was born in 2003 with the acquisition of some hillside land that overlooks and dominates the Teverina Valley and the Alviano Oasis, amidst Lazio and Umbria.
This land borders the medieval towns of Castiglione in Teverina and Civitella D’agliano and for centuries has been renowned for the cultivation of growing wine and olives. Heart of the Wine route and Teverina local products, these municipalities neighbouring towns Civita di Bagnoregio, the dying city, and Orvieto, are within a few km reach of the lake Lago di Bolsena. The microclimate, aspect and direction of slope, and the land characteristics, offer the chance to experiment and create, in a perfect natural laboratory, wine of superior quality complying with organic agriculture principles.
